An attractive antique, Edwardian era, sterling silver table top cigar lighter.
It has a very attractive design, similar to an Aladdin's lamp style but with twin handles like a trophy cup.
The lighter is a table top piece and has a lift out silver cap where the fuel can be added and sits in the lamp reservoir.
It is fully hallmarked for sterling silver, Birmingham assay office, 1906, maker is Mappin and Webb.
Very well made piece by a world renowned silversmiths.
Condition:
Very good used condition overall, light surface wear, commensurate with age.
Approx 4.5" width, 3.5" height and 2" length / depth, weighs 62.93 grams.
