An impeccable, fine antique Grapes tremblant brooch.
Crafted in 15ct Rose gold as the branch of a grapevine, the branch has fine engraving for a realistic look and there is a silver vine and leaf curling around the branch.
To the centre of the brooch there is a drop suspending a cluster of creamy seed pearls as a bunch of grapes, these have a delicate movement when worn really bringing this piece to life.
It has an attached gold safety chain and an old C type clasp and pin fastener.
A very well made brooch with lots of fine detailing.
This brooch can be worn in many ways and is a pretty and versatile piece, it would look great adorning a lapel or cravat or even securing your favourite antique long chain.
The brooch is marked 15c, Edwardian era, C1900s.
I love the mix of tones and the detail on this piece.
