We can't get enough of this stunning antique locket pendant.
Set with a halo of sparkling 'diamond' paste in cool 900 silver this pretty and versatile pendant is a locket, currently holding a portrait miniature front and back but could double up as a keepsake or shaker locket.
It is circular in shape with a bow top, the front has a slim silver gilt rim surrounding the slightly convex glass cover, the reverse has a gilt finish and is marked 900.
A very good quality and well designed antique locket, this would look beautiful hung from an antique silver long chain or as part of a collection of pendants for a neck mess.
Marks and era:
Late Victorian era c1890-1900, marked 900 for silver, possibly German make.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, some age commensurate wear and signs of use, soke wear to the gilt finish on the reverse.
Approx measurements
0.95" width
1.25" length including the bale.
Weighs approx 8.24 grams
