Antique sterling silver brooch, faith hope and charity.
One of the well known group of symbolic antique jewellery types is the faith, hope and charity.
This brooch is designed as a cross, anchor and heart in the centre with bright cut engraved border, these represent faith, hope and charity.
The centre is surrounded by two further symbolic forget me not flowers, one to each end, which finishes this pretty off perfectly.
It is fully hallmarked on the reverse for sterling silver, Birmingham, 1909, maker JRE.
It has an old C type clasp.
Approx 1.5" width and 0.5" height.
Weighs 2.54 grams
