This antique Victorian 9ct gold seal fob makes for a fantastic pendant or the perfect addition to your favourite Albert chain.
The fob is crafted in rich 9ct yellow gold with fine engraved detailing and features a bloodstone to one side and a carved sardonyx to the other.
The Sardonyx is carved with a cross and an anchor representing Faith and Hope, often this symbol was also found with a heart representative of charity but this is just faith and hope.
It used to be a spinning fob however it is now fixed in position and has an integral bale ready to hang from your favourite chain.
Marks and era:
Unmarked, electronically tests as 9ct gold, late Victorian era, c1890s.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, signs of use and wear commensurate with age, fob fixed on place.
Approx measurements:
1.5" length with bale
0.75" width at the widest point
