The sweetest little antique Citrine and seed pearl crowned hearts brooch in 9ct gold.
The crowned hearts were a strong and powerful symbol of love between two people and fidelity or their passion and devotion for each other reigning their love.
This style was also associated with the Scottish Luckenbooth love token pieces though usually the hearts on these pieces were shaped much like the witches heart designs and given as both love tokens and lucky or protective charms.
This brooch has two rich orange heart cut citrine's with a lovely rich hue.
They are crowned with a gold crown set with tiny seed pearls.
It is mounted onto a 9ct gold safety pin style bar brooch, it is very slender and this has a C type clasp and pin fastener.
A dainty piece could be worn many ways including as a tie or lapel pin.
