Antique Art Nouveau amethyst pendant, 9ct yellow gold

The Art Nouveau era really opened up the world to some beautiful delicate jewels, like this beautiful antique, Art Nouveau era Amethyst pendant.

Typical of the movement the pendant makes use of soft flowing lines and delicate cut out shapes whilst still making a bold statement with the rich yellow gold and gorgeous vibrant purple amethyst.

It features a small gold teardrop shaped drop suspended from the main pendant which is hollow, the pendant is reminiscent of the styles produced by we known jewellery designers such as Archibald Knox but it is not marked with a name.

Such a pretty antique pendant!

It has engraved initials on the reverse in gothic type script LM.

It is marked on the reverse 9ct, Art Nouveau era, C1900s.

Condition:
Good used condition overall, some light surface wear commensurate with age, minor surface wear to the stone, hollow drop has denting.
