Antique 18ct gold buckle ring, chunky band, Victorian

This antique 18ct gold Buckle ring is simply lush.

The rich gold band is lightly engraved and it has a buckle front design with tiny screw details, the buckle traditionally symbolises holding someone close or near and this really shows the sentiment in this beautiful ring.

An exceptionally well made piece, a real beauty with an unusual design, chunky bands are always in high demand especially in 18ct gold.

This one has two small nicks to one side and one of the screw areas is nicked, it looks as though someone may have tried to mount a gemstone here, price reflects, still a beautiful design with lots to give.

It is fully hallmarked for 18ct gold, Chester assay office, 1900, late Victorian.

Condition:
Fair used condition overall, minor light surface wear commensurate with age and use, two small nicks to the band top and bottom and to one of the screw designs
