Antique 15ct gold Chick brooch, baroque pearl, enamelled

Isn't this dainty antique 15ct gold chick brooch just the sweetest thing?

A teeny little open gold oval in 15ct yellow gold with a tiny little enamelled yellow and baroque pearl baby chick standing within.

There is a small seed pearl as a grain for the chick to eat.

This is a small and dainty piece but big on design and packed with tiny details!

It has an old c type pin and clasp fastener.

Very versatile and wearable today, this would make a great tie or cravat pin, lapel brooch or even a hat adornment.

Marks and era:
Edwardian era, c1900s, stamped 15ct to the reverse.
