Vintage sterling silver snake bangle, heavy

A superbly stylish vintage sterling silver snake bangle.

It is a cross over or bypass style open bangle with a snake head as one finial and the tail as the other, the body of the bangle is made up of a rope twist style good quality sterling silver and it is a heavy piece.

Designed in an Art Deco style, reminiscent of the earlier Egyptian revival style pieces.

It does not have any fasteners and is designed to be pushed over the wrist, slightly adjustable due to being open ended.

Marks and era:
C1980s, marked 925 for sterling silver.

Condition:
Good used condition overall, some light surface wear commensurate with age and use, overall patina, off round shape
