A gorgeous vintage chunky and heavyweight fine silver rolo link chain necklace.
This is a definite statement piece and is a chain that you certainly know you are wearing, the bright and vibrant tone of fine silver paired with the lovely chunky rolo links make this a standout chain.
The links are compact but large at approx 0.5" link width and 0.25" link depth, it is a circular rolo link and the chain fastens with an S hook fastener.
It has a very heavyweight for a fine silver piece at approx 153 grams.
It is Unmarked but tests as fine silver 999 finesse which is such an unusual find for such a large heavy piece.
It has a nice wearable length, made c1970s.
Fine silver gives a lovely bright appearance but it is a softer metal than sterling.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, signs of use and wear commensurate with age, some small nicks and dings to some of the links, some nicks to the S clasp.
