A beautiful antique, late Victorian Ruby and Diamond ring in 18ct yellow gold.
This beautiful ring is a boat head style ring with a gemstone set face.
It is set to the centre with an oval cut Ruby which is shouldered by two old cut diamonds, the diamonds have a further two rubies either side at the outer edges.
The rubies have a pinkish red hue and the gold has that lovely rich old tone to it found only on antique pieces.
It has decorative chevron engraved shoulders and a smooth 18ct yellow gold band.
The ring is fully hallmarked for 18ct gold, Birmingham assay office, 1897.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, minor surface wear, commensurate with age, nice clear hallmarks.
Ring face Approx 4.6mm length and 2.4mm band width.
