An interesting antique Victorian sterling silver watch fob pendant.
It is a large fob and quite heavy too, it depicts the famous St Christopher image of the saint carrying a child across the mighty river, the patron saint of all travellers.
This is on a roundel surmounted to the decorative fancy shaped fob and it has a fixed position bale ready for hanging from your favourite necklace or Albert chain or an additional jump ring could be added.
These fobs look great alone or as a collection on a nice chunky chain.
A nice unusual find.
Marks and era:
Fully hallmarked for sterling silver, Victorian era, Birmingham Assay office, 1893.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, some surface wear commensurate with age, aged patina, wear to the fixed bale from rubbing.
Total weight 20.53 grams.
