An attractive antique longuard chain.
It is made from steel with a dog clip fastener and flat smooth curb links.
Mid Victorian era it has the makers mark stamped onto the dog clip for John Round, a well respected metalsmith of the time.
Very well made, a beautiful antique chain that can be utilised in many ways, shown in one image with one of our antique silver vestas attached, it does not come with the vesta, listing is for the chain only, would also look great with an antique locket.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, some age commensurate wear and signs of use, tarnish to some areas.
