A beautiful antique, Mid Victorian Jet mourning bracelet.
The bracelet is made up of pretty faceted and high polished carved jet beads.
To the centre of the bracelet is a carved bog oak panel with a sterling silver buckle motif mounted, the buckle is lightly engraved.
This is a sentimental piece with the black jet and the buckle motif, a mourning piece.
It has been threaded onto black elastic so is a slightly variable size depending on how you like the fit, would recommend between 7" to 8" for best fit.
A truly different and beautiful piece of Victorian jewellery, English make, c1870s

Condition:
Fair used condition overall, some wear commensurate with age, some nibbles to the top and bottom of the bog oak panel, it has been restrung and the elastic has been secured with glue, sizeable chip to the jet bead at the back.
