Antique silver crescent and shamrock brooch
A very pretty late Victorian, turn of the century crescent and shamrock or clover brooch.
It is a bar brooch style with two silver bars with sphere finials, in the centre there is an aesthetic engraved crescent and two three leaved clovers.
An interesting combination of Victorian symbols feminine, spirituality and luck.
It is fully hallmarked on the reverse for sterling silver, Chester, 1900, maker Smith Bros.
It has an old C type clasp.

Condition:
Good used condition overall, some tarnish to the back and general wear and signs of use.
