A sweet little Victorian, Rock Crystal shamrock pendant.
Beautiful high polished smooth rock crystal cabochons each set into a rich 9ct yellow gold frame arranged as a three leaved Shamrock or clover.
The pendant encompasses the shamrock with a gold circular gold frame engraved with April Innocence.
Possibly this pendant has some religious connections with the three leaf clover and April being Easter month so this would make a very sweet Easter gift too.
The gold has both rose gold and yellow gold tones and possibly has a rose gold finish on top of the yellow gold as this can be seen showing in places.
It has a small gold jump ring attached so it is ready to be hung from your favourite antique chain or choker necklace.
The light reflects beautifully through crystal giving a light but magical little twinkle.
An interesting and unusual piece, lightweight and dainty, perfect as part of a charm or pendant stack or could be used as a fob.
Unmarked, tests as 9ct gold, late Victorian era c1900, makers mark for S Blackensee.
Condition:
Fair used condition overall, some light surface wear commensurate with age, some areas of wear on the Rose gold finish, a couple of tiny dings and surface scratches.
Approx measurements:
0.86" pendant length with bale
0.74" pendant width
1.42 grams weight
