A beautiful antique Regency era ring.
This pretty piece features a central floral arrangement of garnet and seed pearl, set out in an almost chequer board design, the stones set in sterling silver.
The ring has decorative split shoulders with an impressed band.
You can see elements of earlier Georgian era in this ring, in the split shoulders, stone cuts and setting with the romance of the regency period evident too.
It is set with rich red flat cut garnets, intercepted with seed pearls and it has a central garnet with a drop rose cut.
Set in 9ct yellow gold with a closed back setting, it is Unmarked, tests as 9ct gold, c1810s.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, some age commensurate surface wear and signs of use, slight thinning to the band.
