A superbly pretty antique Art Nouveau 9ct gold pendant.
It is a lavalier style pendant with a scrolling gold design, the centre of the main part of the pendant set with a very rich deep purple Amethyst, the hue of Amethyst that is most decadent and desired.
To the bottom of the pendant there is a further articulated drop housing another slightly smaller Amethyst.
It has a large integral gold bale and is marked on the reverse for the renowned maker Deakin and Francis, 9ct gold, c1900s.
A very pretty and exceptionally well made piece, perfect as a gift for someone special or as a treat for yourself.
Listing is for the pendant only, shown in the images on an antique 9ct gold chain necklace which is not included but available to purchase separately in our shop.
Condition:
Good used overall with minor signs of age and use, some light surface wear, slight rubbing to the marks but still visible.
