A stunning fine antique, Edwardian old cut diamond and split pearl ring.
This beauty is a boat head style ring in rich buttery 18ct gold, the face is claw set with three sparkling old cut diamonds, the largest to the centre with an estimated 0.25ct total weight.
There are two split pearls set to the outer edges of the shoulders and the rich 18ct yellow gold band tapers down from the shoulders to the band ar the back.
I love the combination of pearls and diamonds, such a timeless, luxury choice of stones and they contrast beautifully with the rich old gold.
The diamonds are J-K in colour and SI clarity.
The ring has a personal engraving to the inner band in fancy script with a date of 20th July 1913, probably used as a special engagement ring.
The ring is fully hallmarked for 18ct gold, Birmingham assay office, 1905.
A beautiful and unique design ready to be worn again, this would make a lovely engagement piece or a magnificent sparkly stacker.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, minor surface wear / scratches, commensurate with age.
Ring face approx 5.8mm length and band approx 2mm width at the back.
Total weight: 2.55g.
UK/AU ring size M
US ring size 6
EU / MM ring size 51.87
