This stunning Victorian era shamrock or clover ring is a real beauty.
She really stands out from the crowd with the lovely three leaved clover or shamrocks adorning the face, set with ruby red paste stones with finely engraved stalks.
The ring has a row of glistening white rose cut diamonds down the centre of the face, the shamrocks either side.
It is crafted from the richest most buttery 18ct yellow gold, the type of gorgeous golden glow only found on antique pieces.
Such an interesting and unusual design!
The three leaved clover or shamrock is traditionally associated with the holy trinity, the father, the son and the holy spirit.
It is said that St Patrick taught the meaning of the holy trinity using these leaves in pagan Ireland when trying to convert people to Christianity.
