Antique 9ct gold Witches heart brooch, maple leaf, enamel

A beautiful Antique Victorian 'witches' heart brooch.

This gorgeous piece features a witches style hearts in rich 9ct gold, the heart encompasses a pretty maple leaf with rich autumnal colours.

A versatile piece could be worn many ways including as a tie or lapel pin.

It fastens with an old c type clasp and pin fastener.

The maple leaf is set to represent inner growth, peace and unity, the witches heart design was used in ancient times as a protective symbol to ward off evil spirits and was later also associated with love.
