Antique 9ct gold locket pendant, Double sided, Edwardian

You will fall in love with this exceptional Edwardian locket pendant, so rich beauty and charm.

It is a good sized, Double sided locket with a glazed panel, it is crafted in rich buttery 9ct yellow gold with a slender rose gold frame holding the glass in, there is only one glazed panel currently and there was originally two.

The gold is deeply chased and engraved paying homage to the earlier Georgian styles with a chunky integral loop style bale.

The good has a beautiful bloomed finish giving this locket a grand and regal feel.

This would look beautiful on a nice chunky antique gold chain, holding your favourite picture or keepsake.

Marks and era:
Fully hallmarked for 9ct gold, Birmingham Assay office, 1902.

Condition:
Good used condition overall with signs of age and use, some light surface scratches, one glazed panel missing, this causes the other to rattle in the frame, could have one added or be secured with a card or other backing.
