Vintage sterling silver snake bangle, heavy, Ruby eyes

A superbly stylish vintage sterling silver snake bangle.

It is a cross over or bypass style open bangle with a snake head as one finial and the tail as the other, the body of the bangle is made up of smooth polished good quality sterling silver and it is a heavy piece.

The snake has a clear paste crest and lovely pinky red ruby eyes, the head also has a lovely delicate engraving which really adds a pretty touch.

Designed in an Art Deco style, reminiscent of the earlier Egyptian revival style pieces.

It does not have any fasteners and is designed to be pushed over the wrist, slightly adjustable due to being open ended.

C1970s, unmarked tests as sterling silver

Good used condition overall, some light surface wear commensurate with age and use, overall patina, light surface wear
