Vintage Garnet signet ring, 9ct yellow gold, Art Deco

An interesting and handsome vintage Garnet signet ring.

It has a rich yellow gold mount with a single cabochon cut Garnet.

The ring has a smooth band and shoulders and the stone is bezel set into the mount.

The ring mount is older than the stone and the stone has probably been replaced with a more recent vintage Garnet.

It makes for a great pinky ring and has a mid-high profile from the finger.

These cabochon signets are always in high demand and they really stand out from the crowd.

Marked 9ct for 9ct gold, Art Deco era c1930s

Condition:
Good used condition overall, some age commensurate surface wear and signs of use, stone is a later replacement, stone has surface wear and scratches with some small nicks, band has scratches and nicks to the shoulder.
