Vintage Art Deco 9ct gold stick pin, Cross Pattee
An attractive vintage Art Deco era 9ct gold stick pin.
The head of the pin is designed with as an engraved Cross Pattee in rose gold with yellow gold highlights throughout.
The pin itself is 9ct rose gold and the piece is fully hallmarked on the reverse.
The Cross Pattee has its roots in Christian religion and has been found in world as early as the 7th and 8th centuries.
There are multiple variations in design and this one has triangular shaped arms which comes close to filling a square but not quite.
It is known quite famously for being used by the Knights Templars, various crusaders and flags.
This is a nice little piece with detailed engraving.

Good used condition overall, signs of use and wear commensurate with age, light surface wear, slight bend in the pin.
