Victorian turquoise, diamond and pearl ring, 18ct, forget me not flower

A gorgeous antique, early Victorian forget me not mourning ring.

A gift for a lover, a promise to return or a mourning piece whatever the reason for this ring being given it sure is a beauty.

Buttery rich 18ct yellow gold with decorative scrolling cut out shoulders, the shoulders further set with small turquoise stones, 3 either side with varying shades.

To the centre there is a forget me not flower made up from pearls with a single rose cut diamond centre, the diamond is set in a star shaped silver setting and it has a mid profile from the finger.

To the reverse there is a glazed panel enclosing a small section of neatly woven dark hair.

Unmarked, tests as 18ct gold.

Good condition overall, some light surface wear commensurate with age, light wear to the back of the band.
