A gorgeous antique, late Victorian Crescent moon and flower brooch.
A beautiful open crescent moon in rich 15ct yellow gold with a pretty spray of flowers over the moon.
The flowers are set with creamy seed pearls.
Crescent moons were a popular motif in Victorian jewellery, they are attributed to a number of meanings from feminine strength to changes or new beginnings / chapters.
Flowers may symbolise many things depending on the type including love, sincerity, hope and joy.
