Antique Victorian Turquoise cluster ring, 18ct gold, flower

A gorgeous antique, early Victorian era forget me not flower ring.

A gift for a lover, a promise to return, an admission of true romance, whatever the reason for this ring being given it sure is a beauty.

Crafted in buttery rich 18ct yellow gold with decorative scrolling shoulders, it is a delicate yet bold piece.

To the centre there is a forget me not flower, the petals made up with rich blue / green turquoise cabochons set into a sterling silver setting.

There are two further turquoise cabochons to the shoulders, the centre of the flower has a slight indent, a small diamond could be added here though it does not appear to have had a stone here.

To the reverse there is a small locket back which likely contained a lock of hair though this is missing the glazed panel and the hair.

Marks and era:
Unmarked, electronically tests as 18ct gold and sterling silver, c1850s, Victorian era

Condition:
Fair used condition overall, some light surface wear commensurate with age, light wear to the back of the band, missing glazed locket panel, recess to the front setting could have a stone added, surface wear and scratches, some wear to the turquoise.
