You can't go wrong with a stunning pair of antique, Victorian sterling silver target earrings.
They are drop / dangly earrings that are shaped like a target, circular with a cental shiny domed cab, they are a larger pair of earrings but are hollow as was common at the time, allowing larger pieces of jewellery to be worn more easy and without weighing down the ears.
The rim of the central cab is decorated with wire work and millegrain detailing and they have a scroll design fitting to the top suspending the ear wire fitting.
Marks and era:
They are unmarked, test as sterling silver, Victorian era, c1880's
Condition:
Good used condition overall, signs of use and wear commensurate with age, air holes to the reverse from manufacture, ear wires slightly bent, lots of patina
