A beautiful rare antique, late Victorian Ruby and Diamond ring in 15ct yellow gold.
This beautiful ring is a band style ring graduated from the face down through the shoulders to the band.
It is set to the centre with Rose cut diamond chips in an unusual design of a Maltese Cross with a single Ruby either side.
The rubies have a pinkish red hue and the gold has that lovely rich old tone to it found only on antique pieces.
It has decorative deeply engraved shoulders with a chevron and dot design.
The ring is fully hallmarked for 15ct gold, Chester 1892, makers mark worn
The inner band is engraved with initials though this is very faint.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, minor surface wear, commensurate with age, band slightly off round.
Ring face Approx 6mm length, band 2mm
