Antique Victorian Garnet bead necklace, 9ct gold shield

There is something so alluring about antique gemstone bead necklaces.

This gorgeous Victorian era faceted bead garnet necklace is beautiful and romantic with a little gothic edge, made to twinkle on those low lit evenings with its facets reflecting the light just the right amount.

The garnets are a very deep, dark red and the necklace has an added 9ct gold shield shaped clasp, this does not open but has been added to cover the knot.

A lovely antique bead necklace and there is so much gemstone in one piece.

Good used condition overall, surface wear and signs of use commensurate with age, slight nibbles to the stones and facet edges, shield clasp does not open or close, slight dents
