Such a charming and attractive antique sterling silver stamp case pendant.
This pretty stamp case is designed as an envelope with a small compartment for holding postage stamps, these are such wonderful little pieces full of character and functional too!
This could be used to hold a tiny photograph or keepsake but currently has a collection of vintage stamps in that came with it.
It has a fine bright cut engraved detailing to the opening of the envelope and is fully hallmarked inside.
This would look wonderful hung from a fine antique silver chain, ribbon choker or as an Albert chain fob.
Marks and era:
Fully hallmarked for sterling silver, Edwardian era, 1907, Birmingham Assay office, Maker Crisford and Norris.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, light surface wear and patina commensurate with age.
Approx measurements:
1.04" length
1.10" width
Weight approx 5.13 grams.
