A gorgeous antique silver longuard chain or muff chain necklace.
This is a lovely long length chain at 53" and can be easily wrapped around three times.
It is made from tight curb link sterling silver and is fastened together with a dog clip fastener St the end, this is closed and the chain passes over the head.
Perfect for hanging your favourite Victorian silver pendants or lockets or a fob or pocket watch.
Unmarked it tests as sterling silver, Edwardian era C1900s.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, some Links with wear and slightly stretched, commensurate with age, some darker areas on the chain, probably from previous testing.

Chain length 53"
Dog clip 0.75" length
Links width approx 2.2mm.
