Antique sterling silver egg pendant locket, thimble holder

A gorgeous antique sterling silver egg shaped pendant or locket.

This is a thimble holder designed to be hung from a guard chain or a chatelaine.

It is a nice sturdy and well made piece in solid silver with a rich aged patina and a gorgeous gilt lining.

It has a small engraved monogram on the front that Reads BWH.

This would look great hung on a nice silver long chain or attached to a book chain necklace.

Victorian era, unmarked, tests as sterling silver

Condition:
Good used condition overall, some age commensurate wear, very dark rich patina which could be polished if desired, small dent to the base.
