You can't help but fall in love with this handsome antique Albert chain.
It is a sterling silver chain with an attractive paperclip link, a highly sought after design with a t bar, coin and shield fob, the chain has two dog clip fasteners.
The fob is a shield shaped fob with a rose gold cartouche to the centre and is fully hallmarked, it also has a coin fob which is a Canadian 25 cent coin dated 1913.
Each link is stamped with the lion passant for sterling silver, the clip and t bar are marked but this is worn.
It is a nice solid and weighty Albert chain and these are always in high demand.
A lovely antique chain, the perfect piece for displaying your favourite pocket watch, could also be utilised as a choker necklace depending on size.
It has a short extender chain length and this can be used to increase the overall length of the chain to 16"
Marks and era:
Each link stamped with the lion passant for sterling silver, Edwardian era, c1900s, the fob is fully hallmarked for sterling silver, Birmingham Assay office, 1904.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, aged patina and surface wear commensurate with age, light surface wear and scratches throughout from use over the years.
Total weight 80.39 grams.

T bar - 1.5" width
Fob - 1.20" length x 1" width
