An attractive antique sterling silver sovereign case.
Made from solid silver, it has a plain high polished finish with a monogrammed engraving to the front.
The letters are a fancy script possibly WRC but I could be wrong.
A well made piece, it has an integral bow which is also stamped for silver.
The sovereign case is fully hallmarked for Birmingham Assay Office, 1910, Aaron Lufkin Dennison, which later became the popular Dennison watch case makers.
Can also be used as a pendant or hung from your favourite silver Albert chain.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, some surface wear / scratches, commensurate with age.
Total weight 20.08 grams.
Approx measurements:
Length - 2" with bow
Width - 1.25"
Depth - 0.5"
