A gorgeous antique, 19th century silver seal fob.
Rounded base and matrix with the top in a domed and sectioned engraved sterling silver with a decorative twist loop top.
This little seal is currently attached to a short length of steel chain and has a matching twist loop design pocket watch key also in steel.
Could easily be removed from the chain to add to an Albert chain or as a pendant on a nice antique chain.
The base of the seal is set with bloodstone and somewhat naively carved with a letter B in fancy script.
Unmarked, fob case tests as sterling silver.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, signs of use and wear commensurate with age, overall patina and light surface wear.
Approx measurements:
0.5" height fob
0.5" fob width at the base
4.5" chain length including key
Weighs approx 16.60 grams collectively
