A beautiful antique, early Art Deco era Ruby and Diamond ring in 18ct yellow gold.
This beautiful ring is a boat head style ring with a gemstone set face and lovely scroll work to the shoulders, reminiscent of the Victorian era in its design.
It is set to the centre with an oval cut Ruby with diamond chips either side and a further two rubies, the central Ruby is approx 0.36ct and the diamond weight is approx 0.10ct total.
The rubies have a pinkish red hue and the gold has that lovely rich old tone to it found only on antique pieces.
It has decorative shoulders and a smooth 18ct yellow gold band.
This beautiful antique ring stacks well with other rings but looks just as stunning worn alone.
The ring is fully hallmarked for 18ct gold, Birmingham assay office, 1918, maker A W Crosbee and Sons.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, minor surface wear, commensurate with age, some thinning to the back of the band, one diamond is a replacement.
