An interesting and attractive antique Masonic seal fob pendant.
This was designed to be worn on an Albert chain also known as a pocket watch chain.
It is very well designed with the top made up of 9ct gold traditional Masonic symbols of a compass, trowel, triangle and gavel, each of these symbols carrying their own meaning.
The base is set with a chalcedony matrix, this is an off white yellow tone and has been engraved with symbols
It has an integral bale ready to hang from your favourite chain.
Marks and era:
Unmarked, electronically tests as 9ct gold, Edwardian era, c1900s.
Condition:
Fair used condition overall, signs of use and wear commensurate with age, some light surface wear and minor dings, the bezel to the base has come away a little and is slightly loose.
Approx measurements:
1.25" length with bale
0.75" width at the widest point
