A magnificent antique sterling silver Masonic pendant.
This is a truly unusual piece and it really stands out from the crowd.
It is a very large piece crafted from sterling silver with a rich aged patina, it is designed as the traditional Masonic emblem of the compass and square.
The top of the compass is set with a foil backed pink paste stone and the square has wonderful intricate engraving to one side giving a lifelike feel to it.
Would make a beautiful pendant on a nice antique silver chain, a rare and unique piece, perfect for gifting or a treat for yourself.
Marks and era:
Unmarked, tests as sterling silver, Victorian era c1880s, jump ring stamped 925 not original to the pendant itself.
Condition:
Good used condition overall, signs of use and wear commensurate with age, overall patina, jump ring added to the top is a newer silver jump ring
