Antique Garnet and Pearl ring, 15ct gold

A pretty antique Garnet and Pearl ring.

Full of old Victorian charm, it is crafted in rich 15ct gold with rose tones and set with Garnet and Split Pearl, a single pearl to the centre flanked by two rich red garnets and then a further two tiny pearls.

It has a star punch setting and beautifully engraved shoulders with a smooth band.

A true gem of an antique ring this is also a great style for stacking with other rings.

Marks and era:
Victorian era, fully hallmarked for 15ct gold, Chester Assay office, 1890

Condition:
Good used condition overall, minor surface wear, commensurate with age, the two smaller pearls have nacre damage, slight thinning of the band to the reverse.

Ring face Approx 6mm length and 2mm band width.
