This antique 9ct gold seal fob is designed a little differently and is really very charming!
It is designed as two crossed croquet mallets with a hoop and ball to the base, resting on top of the chased gold which houses a lovely rich red oval shaped Carnelian matrix.
This would make a perfect gift for the Croquet lover or collector of seal fobs.
It has an attached gold bale so is ready to hang from your favourite antique necklace or Albert chain.
A superb antique piece in an interesting and fun design.
Marks and era:
Unmarked, 19th century, c1890s, Victorian era, tests as 9ct gold
Condition:
Good used condition overall, signs of use and wear commensurate with age, small dings to the croquet mallets, the gold croquet ball is a replacement and would likely have been coral in the past.
Approx measurements:
1.10" height / length
0.70" width at the base
